The 6.5 acre camping/rally field is split between camping for tents and caravan rallies and
has views across the Cheshire Plain to the Pennines.
Within the field there are 16 x 10amp electric hook ups that are predominately for rally use.
The Motorhome Service Point situated just inside the Camping & Rally field has two drinking
water taps and a drain for grey waste. A refuse and recycling area is adjacent to this Service
Point. These facilities are available to all users of the Camping & Rally field.
All dogs are to be kept on a lead within your camping area, a dog walk is also available.
Owners are asked to ensure that the 'usual' health precautions are taken to keep the park and
immediate locality clean by clearing up after their pets and using the appropriate waste
bins provided.
Our Tent season starts at Easter and normally finishes at the end of September weather
permitting. Tents are pitched around the edge of the camping area, leaving the centre free
for recreational pursuits (no kite flying).
Campers have the use of the Amenity Block adjacent to the camping field. A facility for
freezing ice-packs is available at the park reception.
BBQ's are allowed as long as they are off the grass and any used charcoal and ashes are
deposited in the designated metal bin. No open fires, fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed.
Generally rallies within the rally field have the use of the
water taps and chemical toilet disposal point. The Amenity
Block is not available to ralliers except when they are part
of an organised event in the rally barn or ‘wee snug’
(pictured right) when the toilets can be used.
Please check with your rally steward for any change to
these conditions. For everyone's comfort, children on the
rallies are requested to stay and play within the rally field.
social gatherings etc. It is a block-built 40' x 36' carpeted barn. It has portable heating,
seating and tables for up to 80 people, a small dance floor, a Hi-Fi system, TV, pool table,
table tennis table, dart boards and also facilities for making hot drinks and a kitchen sink unit.
The 'Wee Snug' is a small meeting room that will seat 20 people and has a compact sink unit.
By prior arrangement catering of hot or cold food, can be provided for your rally at very
reasonable prices. We welcome the opportunity to discuss your requirements.
